Lobster Pictures are a small and friendly company, the products and services that we provide let people view, share and document major projects, anywhere - from everywhere.

 

We built and deployed the first 'Lobster Pot' camera with the Lobster Vision viewer in 2008 - and we've now installed and managed thousands of cameras - mainly in the UK but also across the world.

We are growing fast and need new technicians to build, install and maintain our time lapse fleet.

The Role

Installation, maintenance and decommissioning of time lapse camera systems throughout the country to the highest standards, providing an exceptional level of customer service at all times.

 

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • A reasonable degree of physical fitness is required - the work often involves ladder climbing to rooftops, lighting towers and chimneys, and they often use heavy ballast to secure systems.

  • Working safely is at the heart of what they do - you’ll need a thorough understanding of the full spectrum of risks present in their work and the measures in place to mitigate them.

  • Mechanical aptitude and thorough knowledge of hand and power tools.

  • Ability to assess and manage risk, follow RA/MS and demonstrate the capacity to highlight and prevent unsafe practices.

  • Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a clear and professional manner.

  • Available to work overtime, weeknights, and/or weekends on occasion.

  • Must represent the company in a professional manner at all times including impeccable attitude, conduct and communication.

Essential:

  • Full clean drivers licence

Desired:

  • Proven history working in a similar role

  • Current CSCS/ecs Certification

  • IPAF

  • PASMA
